For the next few months, Cub Scouts throughout the area will team up to encourage boys in first through fifth grade to sign up for Scouts.

Classrooms throughout Chester County will receive a special invitation through in-school broadcasts, flyers and special stickers to join Scouting.

The campaign is part of the Chester County Council’s annual “Race into Scouting” membership drive. This fall, 1,300 young people will join Cub Scouts.

Parkesburg Pack 135, chartered to Keystone Valley Fire Department, will be signing up boys and their families on September 15th at KVFD’s Central station in Parkesburg. Those interested in joining can come out between 7pm-8:30pm to sign up, ask questions, and view multiple fire department demonstrations, including a vehicle rescue and forcible entry demonstration put on by KVFD.
For further information email Pack 135’s Cubmaster at cubmaster.pack135@gmail.com.
